Model #228 Includes One Turkey Call Receiver. The receiver can be used and comtrolled remotely with cass creek item 235. The NOMAD Receiver is also a hand-held game call when remote sound is not required. Each NOMAD Receiver can be connected to external speakers for even greater separation of sound. The internal speaker is bypassed when connected to external speakers.
Each NOMAD Receiver is programmed with five (5) field tested, field proven sounds. All sounds are authentic recordings or real animals made for Cass Creek by top hunters and naturalists.
Cluck – A low volume note or series of notes used as small talk between turkeys establishing a location.
Yelp – A louder call or series of repetitious notes beckoning other turkeys to come
Fighting Purr Call – Aggressive / agitated Toms sparring for dominance. Often triggers a hung up tom to come in.
Kee-Kee – Used mainly by young turkeys to reassemble or a lost turkey trying to find the flock.
Purr – A confidence call used during feeding, close range and group talk.
